Rach Mieu Bridge Vietnam

Rach Mieu Bridge was opened for traffic in 2009 connecting the two southern provinces of Ben Tre, and Tien Giang across the Tien River in Vietnam. This cablestayed bridge measures 513 m in length and 15.7 in width, with a main span of 270 m and side spans of 117 m. The bridge has concrete deck and concrete pylons.

The bridge deck was constructed using the balanced cantilever method with castin- situ deck segments and employs a two stage stay cable stressing sequence to limit the stresses in the deck girder during construction.
